Easy things to steal are stolen but the main concern is about moving thefts, meaning thieves that will target you on your bike and try to knock you over. That happens on the newer bikes as they sell for a lot more money, but for a lowly cheap bike, it will only get stolen if it's easy to steal.

Yeah, they'd steal testicles if they could, but the objective is to be less desirable than the guy next door to you.
