What are your favourite hangover cures ?
Re: What are your favourite hangover cures ?
I haven't smoked in years, but two wake n bake bong hits used to do nicely.

You'd think it was medicine too if you'd been overpaying for Royal D in drip form at your local hospital... my missus came home clutching a sugar solution they'd scammed $5 out of her for at the local Khmer clinic. So I sat her down and explained how it was exactly the same as Royal D... now her whole family lives on the stuff.StroppyChops wrote:I used to scoff Royal D as nothing but sugar water, but we buy it by the carton now. I truly do wish the nationals didn't consider it as 'medicine' though. I suppose given the prevalence of dehydration that it may appear to be magic powder.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:What the hell is "the hair of a dog"? Ive found hydration to be the only solution. I only recently started trying out the Royal D, and I do think it makes a difference both before bed and upon waking up.

Re: What are your favourite hangover cures ?
Being English, and a builder, i pride myself with a good Full english breakfast (at least 2 of everything)
i get a great craving for one the morning after a night on the ale,
it is full of meat and carbs to soak up the alcohol along with a nice cup of tea, while it will leave you unable to do anything for the next couple of hours you will be good to go for the rest of the day,
a pint of water and 2 ibuprofen either before bed or upon just waking up helps, if the water has royal D in it is a bonus!
TBH hair of the dog is irreverent for me, i drink so much on a night out, i drink a lot of vodka and long islands, and spirits stay in in your system a lot longer than beer, i find myself still pissed at 5pm the next day sometimes, and by that time im starting to get ready for another night on the pop so its all good
(unless i have a big full english breakfast in the morning, as that shit will sober me up and i have to retreat home in a food coma for a couple of hours lol)

I can easily relate to all what JL just said.
That is easily explainable:
1. I live in SHV
2. Even though I am french I was half raised in England
Cheers !

They don't seriously use Royal D in IV bags, surely?TheGrinchSR wrote:You'd think it was medicine too if you'd been overpaying for Royal D in drip form at your local hospital... my missus came home clutching a sugar solution they'd scammed $5 out of her for at the local Khmer clinic.
