To be honest, in some ways I wish I could have stayed with my parents for longer. It wasn't really an option though, because I was way too wild and anyway the atmosphere at home wasn't good. I get on very well with my folks now, but I'm not so sure I would if I had to deal with them everyday.

Maybe, but aren't you much luckier than so many in past decades who probably couldn't have even considered the possibility of buying property.
Buying an apartment or house doesn't mean you have to live there. You can live at home with your family, while the rent from your apartment pays the bank loan. In years to come, this will mean that any husband-to-be will need to pay your family more due to your astute investment.

Just curious, in what way was the atmosphere not good?

I think we won't grow if we live in a good atmosphere and satisfied with everything.

Right. One needs suffering for some balance to life.

I've never even thought about buying a house.

Moved out to live with my girlfriend when I was about 20.

Then lived with my grandma for a while for damn near free.

Then lived in a crazy party house in a college town for a while. I got tired of handling every fucking police incident myself, realizing my luck would eventually run out, and left...

Had my own apartment downtown. Left the States.

Shared accommodation with teachers in Indonesia.

Guesthouses all over SEAsia.

Apartments in Cambodia.

Now hotels in Saudi Arabia.

I'm never home, and rarely stay in one place for long, so buying a home has never crossed my mind.

A boat house would be kind of cool. Hell, felt like I lived in pontoon at times.

Mile High Club. http://www.milehighclub.com/Fun_Facts/
... 5. Brits have the most inflight intercourse
Apparently, those buttoned up Brits are the friskiest flyers. According to another Skyscanner survey of 700 cabin crew members, Brits lead the unofficial Mile High membership rolls, followed closely by the Australians, Germans, French, and Brazilians.

6. There are rules
To be considered eligible for membership, sexual intercourse has to occur at an altitude of at least 5,280ft (one mile, obv) and in an airplane, according to http://www.milehighclub.com. Many disagree, however, since isn't the whole concept really made up anyway that number is irrelevant in aviation and even Sperry wasn't flying that high.

7. Singapore Air had to ban the Mile High Club
Not long after proudly unveiling its super luxe, double-decker Airbus A380 (equipped with $10k per person, double-bed “suites”), Singapore Air publicly asked passengers to stop having sex in them. Because while they may seem private, they aren’t soundproof.
 No fun even in 1st class these days.
