This is Cambodia. 10,000 riel notes work wonders. I dont wait anywhere, and unlike Vegas where you have to pass out a C note just to be looked at, $2 here does the trick.

Hint to newbies: 200,000 in 5K demoninations should last you a month, So to save time, why dont you just make one trip to the bank every few months, get the notes a million riel at a time. Toss them in a drawer and use as needed.

Plus the bank girls get all moist and fluffy when you get a million riel from them.

But 200.000 Riel is worth just under $50 so unless you live in some remote unpopulated area it won't last very long at all. I don't even understand why someone asked this question unless they are very new here, or live in some remote unpopulated area.
