Do you have children? How many? Poll.
I made a life choice a long time ago to not have kids as I understood my lifestyle coupled with some character traits wouldn't serve a little Hillbilly's development particularly well. It's a decision I've not regretted.
How many do you have? Do you/did you enjoy having them? Did you always want them?
Are you an older parent who had children later in life? What's that experience like?

Two boys (now men) from first wife ... and now two boys (step dad) with my Khmer wife.

I went full Pacino & had one in the 90s, one in the 00s, one in the 10s, and one in the 20s! Staggering.
Yes adore them, yes always wanted. They're no trouble at all, totally life enriching from birth to the eldest now at 25. I can't imagine passing on & leaving nothing behind. to think of all my ancestors that had to fall in love, get jiggy with it, and of all the billions/trillions of permutations I am here, and me be the one to end that line because I fancy globe trotting solo or to just look after cats? No, wasn't for me. Family is everything.

3 was enuf for me before I came here , then 2 more accidentally
It’s a shame to worry about what’s going to happen to the one I still have when the time comes
Considering I am 71 and he is only 6 years of age .
To say I have my fingers crossed is an understatement.

Odd subject from someone who decided not to have kids and needs reassurance they did the correct thing!
Personally I think non breeders are selfish as the world needs people.
I have four but started late and my first was born when I was in my early 30s.

I'm so happy with the two we got here. The first would have been lonely without the second, I know that now. And their competition among themselves makes them stronger in my opinion.

No kids. I decided years ago I wasn't going to have any, I've never regretted that decision.

No kids. I wouldn't be a good father and there is enough fucked up kids in the world.
But kudos to the good parents out there!
