Germany legalizes recreational weed
Germany’s lower house of parliament voted to legalize cannabis for limited recreational use on Friday despite warnings from the opposition and medical authorities.
The new rules mean adults can possess small amounts for personal use but the drug remains banned for under 18s.
In total, 407 German lawmakers voted in favor of the new regulation, 226 lawmakers voted against and four lawmakers abstained from Friday’s vote. The passage of the bill follows a controversial national debate about the pros and cons of allowing easier access to the drug.
The move makes Germany the third country in Europe – after Malta and Luxembourg – to legalize the drug for recreational use, removing cannabis from the official list of banned substances.

Under the new legislation, put forward by Germany’s ruling coalition party, adults can cultivate up to three plants for private consumption and be allowed to possess 50g at one time at home, and 25g in public, starting from April 1.
From July 1, cannabis would also be available in licensed not-for-profit clubs with no more than 500 members – all of whom would have to be adults. Only club members would be allowed to consume their output.

I can't believe this is finally happening. Herzberg Festival anyone?
Driving on Cambodian roads is just like playing a classic arcade top scroller. The only difference is a force feedback controller, the limitation to only one life and the inability to restart, once Game Over

As if Germany's youth wasn't dumb and dull enough already.

Is marijuana legal in Portugal?
It is illegal to plant, sell, possess, buy or smoke cannabis for recreational purposes in Portugal.
Because recreational use has been decriminalized, however, if found with 20g or less of flower, you will not face criminal charges.
Joao Goulao, Portugal’s national drugs coordinator, remarked on the decision: “decriminalization is not the solution for everything, but everything is much easier when thinking about addiction as a disease with the same dignity as other diseases.”

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Anything that might help them loosen up is a step in the right direction.

You must have tooted Mexican bush weed or Moroccan soap bar! If you chose the right strain for your brain (thousands available now), you'll find that THC expands the mind and CBD relaxes the spirit. I've tooted for 40 years in 35 countries (even got a doobie from a US GI in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf war) and I'm neither dumb nor dull. Alcohol, on the other hand ..... well, need I elaborate?
Plenty edibles available now too and recipes on YouTube.
Loosen up bro!
Have yourself a Leary biscuit!
Nuff said.

When pot goes legal, the neighbor countries get some too, through the black market routes. Germany borders nine countries.
