It could have fast tracked getting citizenship from 3 years to weeks.......Zyzz wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 7:56 amDont play soccer... why

Do any of those carry their Cambo passport around with them to get into museums for free?PSD-Kiwi wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 1:22 pm You just need a Certificate of non-impediment/ single status from your country, don't need proof of the divorce, just proof that you are not currently married. You also need a letter from your Embassy.
I know several foreigners who have obtained Citizenship via marriage the past few years, the process is alot more transparent now, as long as you are organised, have all the necessary supporting documentation, and can pass the language assessment there is no tea money involved. Worth noting though that Citizenship applications are temporarily suspended whilst they are investigating corruption and "cleaning house".

Besides getting into museums, Angkor Wat, and owning land, and the supposedly free (not really) health care, what are the benefits of Cambodian citizenship? As opposed to getting an EB extension every year?
Seems like a high hurdle to get. Even higher than the weddings hoops to run through.
Might be a project to do for retirement instead of drinking beer all day. Assuming a fixed income and nothing to do.
