Good thing he didn't wait until they were airborne

Re: Canadian, well Chinese, man opens plane door
Actually it happened during taxiing prior to take-off. Still bad but not quite so.
Re: Canadian, well Chinese, man opens plane door
Saw a similar thing happen when we were operating an airfield in Oecussi the East Timorese enclave. The UN chartered civilian aircraft had just started to taxi when the rear passenger door flew open and a bloke jumped out and ran into the bushes at the side of the runway. We found out later from the crew that he'd wanted to use the toilet but was told he couldn't until after the plane was airborne so he did what he thought was the next best thing and bailed out of the moving aircraft.
What just made it worse was the security detachment (a Middle Eastern detachment who were really quite a good bunch at least in enthusiasm) saw what was happening and drove off after the aircraft. One of the troops misjudged his leap from the moving vehicle in his effort to run after the passenger and he rolled along the ground for quite a bit. The end result was one relieved passenger who got back onto the aircraft when he'd finished his business and one guard with gravel rash and a lot of embarassment.

So he was a Canadian citizen. Most likely having some mental issues. But you want to point out his origins because that matters or because you're racist?

IWell said Hanno. If he suffered discrimination in Canada because of his ethnicity, that would be racism and relevant. The Woke brigade can't have it both ways

Nowhere in the article does it say that. It says "who allegedly insisted that he believed someone was about to attack him."
This board seems to be full of racists who hate Chinese people. The same people who are mostly responsible for the strong economic growth this country has experienced for a decade now.

It is a double edged sword with the Chinese.
