Obama wanted the US to create an independent military force answerable only to him.

Also military exercises held where ‘constitutional terrorists’ had seized urban areas and had to be rooted out.

This was at the time where the press in Venezuela and communist China were greatly admired for serving ‘the people’ (aka the government). Commanding factories to shut down in order to save the planet from pollution and other such nonsense was deemed noble.

Currently, there are three contenders for the title, and the main battle seems to be for second place. They probably don’t even recognise who they are, but just about everyone else does. ;)
