Exploring the Czech Republic beyond Prague
I'm planning a trip to the Czech Republic next year and have been intrigued by what I've seen in photos and read about. In particular, the beautiful photos shared here of places like Brno and Český Krumlov make me want to experience the architecture, history and landscape for myself.
For those who have visited, I'd love your recommendations beyond Prague. What other cities or towns made an impression? I'm also curious about budget accommodation options that allow for cultural immersion.
As a solo traveler, I'm wondering if organized tours could provide access to more remote areas. Also, if I want the best beers, do I need to visit Plzeň or are beers throughout Czechia really that good?
Any other advice or insights from those familiar with the Czech Republic would be greatly valued at this stage of trip development. Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences and expertise!

Sedlec Ossuary in Kostnice is worth a visit.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Thank you for the recommendation, @John Bingham. The Sedlec Ossuary is definitely worth a visit. I just checked more information online, and they’re even offering a tour at night!

Re: Exploring the Czech Republic beyond Prague
The Czech Republic has more to offer than just Prague and Sedlec Ossuary. I have found some amazing places to visit online. Here are some of them:
• Český Krumlov: A UNESCO World Heritage Site with charming architecture and local brews https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/617/
• Brno: The second-largest city in Czechia, with a magnificent castle and the Tugendhat Villa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1052/
• Plzeň: The fourth-largest city and the birthplace of the Pilsner beer. It also has some remarkable museums, such as the Museum of West Bohemia. If you go there in September, you can enjoy the Pilsen International Film Festival.
• Bohemian Switzerland National Park: A natural wonder with sandstone features, amazing views, and endless hiking trails https://www.ceskesvycarsko.cz/en/ceske-svycarsko
• Beskydy Mountains: A mountain range with scenic landscapes and the small town of Příbor, where Sigmund Freud grew up.
There are so many wonderful places to pick from, so I might need a local guide to show me the best ones. I have read good things about this provider that offers personalized tours of my hand-picked favorites https://gowithguide.com/czech-republic/guides
