Pre-marriage workshop

Ask us anything. Cambodia Expats Online has a huge community of long-term expats that can answer any question you may have about life in Cambodia. Have some questions you want to ask before you move to Cambodia? Ask them here. Our community can also answer any questions you have about how to find a job or what kind of work is available for expats in Cambodia, whether you're looking for info about Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or anywhere else in the Kingdom. You're also welcome to ask about visa and work permit questions as well, as the immigration rules change often, especially since COVID-19. Don't be shy, ask CEO's community anything!

Enjoy the ride!

Just curious at which point you're planning to take back control.
To take back control, you must have had it at some point. Do we know that's the case?
I could drop the word 'back'.

Then why do you feel the need for a pre-marriage workshop?

If it’s about all about who’s in control, in my opinion the marriage is doomed.

In a good marriage, two become one. Both complement the other. Both are in control, neither are in control.

Good luck in your marriage and may you have a lifetime of happiness.

One possibility is the 6 pages of discussion, meandering through what is ultimately chit-chat, without actual human-human interaction or 75c beers.

If you truly love her, and she truly loves you, there is no confusion. Everything will work out.

Pick Mrs. Or Mr. Right Now, and the relationship falls apart after right now passes. Been there, suffered that.

Good luck.

Thanks, I have been through it too with my Ecuadorian wife ... I just think a little preventative medicine would help ... example: Khmer chicks are taught that if you are not fiercely jealous, that means you are doing something wrong ... in contrast, jealousy in Western culture is toxic ... to sit with a marriage coach who is bi lingual and can explain how these culture clashes work or do not work could help us understand where the pot holes are and will be as we move along the road of life together ... or words to that effect.

No, it is not only for those living in Cambodia....it is a group dedicated to providing information and advice to Cambodian-Foreigner couples and families.
Private group.

Requires answering questions for the mods to consider to admit you.

First question - do you and your spouse live in Cambodia?

After that, I’m not interested.
1.) You like Khmer laydee?

2.)You like my sista?
