If you're from Europe or North America and are feeling a little homesick as we approach the festive season, I have a cure for you:
Better?

I haven't been in Europe in the winter in nearly 20 years. When I go in their "summer" I am freezing so no interest in going in winter.

Ditto. I was in the UK, France and Italy in July 2015 and only started feeling comfortable when I got to Palermo.

Summer in Scotland this year I saw people sitting outside pubs trying to break the ice on top of their drinks :0)

No, I despise the commercial season except for when it brought me double or triple pay

I still love the Christmas season, but not enough to fly home every year.

After living in Aspen for 4 winters back in the 70's.
The ONLY thing i miss alot at times, is waking up to a foot of fresh snow, knowing i will get first tracks down the mtn>
i still miss siting in a hot tub outside as the snow falls with a glass of wine and friends
