Hi, Anyone has experience on ordering iHerb to ship to Cambodia and required to visit custom office in person to know how much duty to be paid?

iHerb are you sure it’s duty to be paid and not twenty to thirty years in a Cambodian prison?

iHerb is a popular website selling vitamins or nutritional supplement, nothing to do with narcotic drug. Just fear being rip off at custom office. I am wondering how much duty will i need to pay for USD 300 healthcare items?

In the past, in my country, iHerb by DHL always delivered my package to my door, this is the first time i need to visit custom, if i come back alive, i will post my experience.

Any personal import above $50 (the de minimis level) is subject to duties: VAT, import duty and any other special duties.

Medicines/pharmaceuticals and herbal/vitamins are subject to VAT but not import duty. So, $300 will require $30 VAT.

I have had some meds sent via basic postal services and as long as the packages are kept small, like less than 6'inch/15cm cubed, they seem to pay no attention to the value. But from previous posts here, DHL is a pain in the ass that costs a fortune and best avoided.

Just beat me to the above... However, one thing to pay attention to on the duty/tax list is whether there is a red ! icon in Column T. If there is, that means a Ministry permit is required, click on the icon and you will see what is specifically required.
Check the paperwork you have to see if it mentions the HS/HTS number, this is the tariff code listed in https://customs.gov.kh/en/publications/ ... ia-km-2022 If your invoice doesn't show it then just Google the name of your product + HS code

DHL Cambodia have gone full scam over the past year - totally complicit with customs office- avoid at all costs

The customs will tax your $303 iherb at around 75% PLUS they will also tax whatever you paid on shipping at same rate
