Cambodia News, (Sihanoukville) : From October 20 to November 4, 2023, Sihanoukville will host a giant Halloween party called Nightmare Carnival. The festival is expected to attract more than 14,000 national and international tourists.

The Nightmare Carnival will offer a variety of entertainment experiences, including outdoor concerts and performances by national artists, as well as events by local residents, including Halloween ghost shows, horror screenings, fairground game booths, and plenty of food and drink stalls to make the atmosphere more fun and lively for all tourists.


The official opening ceremony of the Nightmare Carnival was held under the presidency of Mr. Kouch Chamroeun, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, accompanied by many other government officials in Sihanoukville to provide clear evidence of their support for a common vision of Sihanoukville as a major tourist destination in South East Asia.

Mr. Kouch Chamroeun said that the Nightmare Carnival will contribute to the development of Sihanoukville in the field of tourism and trade, and will enhance the city's reputation as an area full of attractive and lively activities for tourists by day and by night, and will therefore encourage further private and public investments in Sihanoukville's growing tourism sector.

At least there's no lack of haunted houses in Sihanoukville, making the scenery quite suitable.
