Random Dude wrote: Sun Oct 15, 2023 5:15 am I've been seeing comments online claiming the videos are fake - well, not fake but that it was a (presumably Hamas) IED rather than an Israeli airstrike that caused it.

I have no idea what's true, neither would surprise me and I feel like both sides are equally likely to be behind it, and equally likely to blame the other side for it, but whoever is responsible is just scum IMO.

I suppose it's word against word until investigators can access the location, which might never happen.

The Palestinian Health Ministry says 70 people were killed at the scene, and blame Israel for the attack.

The IDF says it is investigating - but says its enemies are trying to prevent civilians leaving the north.

BBC Verify will continue to monitor the situation and report any updates.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

the longer this war goes on, the longer Israel refuses to stop bombing and allow aid in, the more the world turns against them

And this is why more care needs to be exercised when reading or listening to these reports.

There are three lines of text; statements in effect, 2 of which would infer or directly accuse the IDF of some deliberate action, and paints a very different picture . Yet, if the dialogue is listened to in its entirety, there is a very different story behind this.
Deliberate misinformation
