Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk): At 14:53 on October 6, 2023, the Criminal Bureau received a complaint from Nguon Sokhom, male, 34 years old, Khmer Manager of Nike Shoe Shop in Sihanoukville, against two unidentified Chinese suspects who used a telegram account to send him a threatening voice message in an attempt at extortion.


Over the next two days, the criminal police brigade investigated the case and arrested four suspects of Chinese nationality:
1: GANG ZHAO KUN, male, 25 years old, Chinese, computer worker, residing in Village 1, Sangkat 3 Preah Sihanouk
2: XIONG KUA, Male, 26 years old, Nationality Chinese, Occupation Computer Worker, Residing in Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville City, 3: LIANG JUN YONG, Male, 28 years old, Chinese, False Occupation, Village 2, Sangkat 3, Preah Sihanouk Province.
4: NING FEI, a 33-year-old Chinese man with an unspecified job, was sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Hospital for treatment because he jumped from the apartment building during the crackdown and broke his leg.





As a result of police interrogation, the first two suspects confessed to hiding four weapons in the bungalow where they were staying in Village 2, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville. On the same evening, 6 October, the Armed Forces searched the bungalow and found exhibits including 1 INDONESIA firearm No. SS1-V1KAI556, 16 ammunition, 1 REMINGTON-MODEL870 firearm (no bullets), long firearm 1 COLT-DEFFENSE (rubber gun), 1 GLOCK19 handgun, 6 bullets, 2 magazines, 1 KAWASAKI ZX10R motorcycle, 8 packs of white powder weighing 3,454.6 g, 6 packs of white powder weighing 557.5 g, 68 packs of red tablets weighing 7.91 g, 3, 4 green tablets weighing 10.8 grams, 50 gray tablets weighing 1,033.3 grams, 2 mobile phones, drug paraphenalia and some small quantities of pills.



Then, at 8:30 on October 08, 2023, the Anti-Drug Bureau raided a villa in sangkat2 and seized 16 packages of white powder weighing 11,400grams, 1 package of white powder weighing 16.4 grams, 1 package of red pills = 83 bullets weighing 8.4 grams, 2 electronic cigarettes, 2 bullets, 1 Chinese military ID card, and other various items.
