Years ago, I asked a very simple question OTOF. About 3 people told me to fk off, 1 person called me a cnt, and the only helpful reply came from a poster called Vlad.

I have a long memory, but it also takes me a while to get around to thanking people for good deeds done in their previous life(s).
So if anyone knows Vlad, tell him thanks. I probably owe him a beer or something.

I didn't have time for hanging out on a forum at the time anyway and TOF was never a good fit for me. It was useful for a while. Then CEO started up. It looked like a lot like TOF at first, but it's slowly turned into a different place. More chilled, more open to difference, not so snarky, and much more interesting these days,IMO anyway.

Good idea, let's have a free and fair election. If CEO wins, then we won fair and square, if we lose, then we call in the heavies and either lock up everyone who voted for TOF or send them into exile.
