Wasn’t there a member whose wife was seduced by a Mormon and left him and her kids to go over the border and live with him. Scam run by a Thai lady?

According to the Consul General, the six Cambodian women, two from Sihanoukville, two from Kampot, and two from Kampong Speu, were rescued by the Cambodian Embassy in Vientiane aided by Lao police officers from Borkeo province, at 3:30 pm on September 30, 2023. After the rescue, the officials contacted the Trapeang Kriel International Gate Police Station to facilitate the handover process.

The six women victims say they were tricked by recruiters into working in Laos since August 2023 at a KTV service, then forced to work as sex workers, every day, for 24 hours a day.
On the morning of September 30, 2023., the women posted a message on Facebook calling on the authorities to help them, and the six victims were overjoyed as the messages were received by the authorities and they were released to go home.
