Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police said that two Chinese nationals who specialize in stealing cars in Sihanoukville by smashing glass and cutting car keys were arrested on September 29, 2023, and are ready to be sent to the provincial court.

According to the report of the Sihanoukville Provincial Police, on September 21, 2023 at 12:30 noon, there was a case of aggravated theft (stealing a car by smashing the windshield and cutting the car key chain) at HILL PARK VILLA Borey in Village 5, Sangkat 4, Preah Sihanouk Province. The stolen vehicle was a Black ALPHARD 2017 series with license plate Phnom Penh 2BG-7889, which the victim had parked near the house.

Upon receiving an order from Lt. Gen. Ratha, Deputy Commissioner General and Commissioner of Police of Preah Sihanouk Province, on September 25, 2023 at 3:00pm, two Chinese male suspects were arrested and the missing car exhibits were confiscated. The suspects had changed the license plate to Phnom Penh 2AI-5090 to attempt to deceive the authorities.


Victim name: ZHANG CHENDONG, Male, 27 years old, Nationality: Chinese, Occupation: Driver, Residence: Village 5, Sangkat 4, Preah Sihanouk Province.
Lost property: 1 black ALPHARD car, 2017 series, with license plate Phnom Penh 2BG-7889.

The two suspects are as follows:
1. Name: LIU HAI HUA, Male, 39 years old, Chinese, Occupation is not real, Residence is not real.
2-Name is LI XIAOJUN, Male, 38 years old, Chinese, Occupation is not real, Residence is not real.
