Besides getting away from the traffic, one of the nice things about walking on the sidewalk in an area with high buildings is that you can usually walk in the shade.

What is needed is some organization like this,
https://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=AwrOrNr ... LjVQRSeJE-
to publicly say that games like these will be no longer be held in Cambodia as participants in this sports cannot safely move around the city without having to put their lives in danger by using the wheelchairs on the roads.
Must be thousands of tourists in wheelchairs that Cambodia is losing out on because of this problem.

I like the Russian stubborn way against stubborn drivers, polite but firm.

Maybe it’s time to assume that the footpath continues over an SUV. Irritated footprints on someone’s roof might wake the idiots up.finn wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 12:18 pm and maybe they could do same for St 19? only one bike parking agent parks bikes at an angle so you can actually walk on a thin strip of 'sidewalk.'
Several shop owners park suv and even pickup trucks head-in blocking entire 'sidewalk' and an entire 'bike' lane of the road.
When one of the concrete trucks goes down the street and a city bus or trash truck is headed the opposite way all traffic is frozen until the impatient shopper finishes comes out and moves their double parked SUV! lol

Aye, but there's always the danger of a ricochet. They seldom miss.Freightdog wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 3:25 pmThey’ll miss.Alex wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 1:13 pmI'd be worried that it wakes up a gun-toting bodyguard.Freightdog wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 12:41 pmI’ve walked through a TukTuk and climbed over a Moto that deliberately positioned themselves to impede foot traffic, previously.
