Yeah, that's what I heard too - or at least that there were a lot of Vietnamese 'working girls' in the eastern provinces. I guess that most Cambodian village girls would not want to work as prostitutes too close to home where they might be known, so they go to work in PP or somewhere far from their family, and the Vietnamese girls go across the border to work for the same reason.

Mind you, this probably holds true everywhere. But I'd say that crossing borders is riskier for the girls.

It did a few years back unless it changed after that but it also was quite ugly girls so dont see those really pretty, big boobed white skin girls in front of you.

It makes sense if the girls were straight off the farm and thought they were going to get jobs waitressing or work in a casino. Then once they get to Cambodia they find themselves in a job where they don't have a choice - they "owe" the people traffickers big bucks etc. They might be lucky if they get $1 a bj from the $10 paid.
There are a lot of naive desperate people out there who really want to believe what they are told about El Dorado and the streets paved with gold. :evil:
How dumb do they have to be to see Cambodia as somewhere the streets are paved with gold? Thailand maybe, or Malaysia, but KOW? Nah, dont get it
If it’s a Khmer living in the deepest countryside where every road is a dirt road, then any road is better.

And the roads in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and other cities, well of course they are paved with gold.
