Cambodian Immigration Launches "Cam Arrival Card"

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: Visitors to Cambodia will find it easier as Cambodia launches a new system called Cam Arrival Card, which integrates immigration, health and customs information into a single format.

The project to create a Cam Arrival Card system was mentioned in a meeting between Lt. Gen. Sok Veasna, Director General of the General Department of Immigration and representatives of the Ministry of Health and the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia on September 14, 2023.
The establishment of the Cam Arrival Card system is being introduced to simplify and speed up the arrival process for foreign guests who come to Cambodia, by entering all their information on the same card to hand over to Cambodian officials.

Haha, let's see if it finally works, I downloaded this app from the playstore about 4 years ago, looked good, was able to fill in details of arriving travellers but that was about it.

I also downloaded another one called KH Immigration Services at the same time, same result, winder if that's active now also? Will check both of them out

Yeah that would be nice, it's about the only thing I still need handwriting for as things stand.

All parties agree that this CAC system is a good idea in theory, but it is still under discusssion. More from the same article (link below):

However, the Director General of Immigration requested a study on a number of additional points that are required by the Ministry of Health and the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia regarding the Cam Arrival Card system. Mr. Sok Veasna agreed to accept some requests and to report other matters to the leadership to decide.

He also requested that the Health Department and the General Department of Customs work together with the technical team of the General Department of Immigration to achieve the establishment of the Cam Arrival Card system soon.
