Sihanoukville Police Crack Down on Street-Fighting Thugs

Cambodia News, (Sihanoukville): Police arrested eight Vietnamese suspects who intentionally violated security and public order at 2am on September 11, 2023, at the Golden Lion roundabout in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville. In a violent attack, a group of eight people took metal rods and hit another group of people, causing injuries to their arms, bodies and heads.

Immediately after receiving the information, under the order of Lt. Gen. Ratha, Deputy Commissioner of the National Police and the Sihanoukville Provincial Police Commissioner, the criminal police force in cooperation with the Sihanoukville Police Inspectorate went to investigate take the criminals into custody.

In this incident, the police also confiscated the following items:
- 11 mobile phones.
- 3 steel pipes
- 1 steel shovel
- 1 metal pole
1 can of pepper spray.
One white Alphard car.
