Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A group of thugs were captured on a video, showing them smashing a bottle of wine on the head of a young man in front of a club called Miss EX in Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh.

Sources say that this attack, which occured at 8:20pm on the night of 1 September 2023, was an act of retaliation following a previous attack outside the club involving the same groups of people. They say that there are fights almost every night in that area, but often the police are not called to intervene. However, in this case, the police came to the scene, because the victim, a young man, was seriously injured and had to be transported to hospital.

Update: A young man who was beaten on the head by a gang with a hard bottle is now dead.

I had another look at it and it seems he got hit with a few bottles and kicked in the head a few times. Nasty little toe rags.

This has been going on in Daun Penh for well over a decade to my experience, I witnessed many things like this is that area, and some even more horrific than this. Coppers never came once. Although sometimes crowds would draw to watch a rich man beat the shit out of a prostitute, etc. Nasty shit, uncontrolled testosterone flying around. Says something about the seat of government too.

Update: A case of violence (using a search bottle on the head) Lee, a young man, was seriously injured in front of the Miss EX Entertainment Club, located along the corner of Street 55 and Street 242, Boeung Reang, Daun Penh District. Daun Penh district police in cooperation with Phnom Penh police force (light criminal) have already arrested all of them. At this time, the competent authorities are implementing the procedure.
