I had a pic of @hanno favored brand but couldn't find those. I guess he wasn't too keen to send me to a competitor. But no complaints about Romany - in fact, highly recommended, after trying 3 different, exorbitantly priced brands from Lucky, I find these to be the best, by far!!

Actually, that's an interesting point: I suppose the outside is eatable, like the redfish ones on peanuts? I still don't know, so I peel it off usually...

Absolutely edible, but I personally do not like the taste.

Indeed edible, but yes, it's a matter of taste! I quite like it, even if it can be a little bitter at times, but gives me an organic feel to it! He also carries the peeled variety in vacuum-sealed packets, BTW.
