Chinese-American CHLOE YINRONG (Owner of Good Times Bar in Phnom Penh) Arrested for Marijuana

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Chinese-American expat and owner of Good Times Bar, Chloe Yinrong, has reportedly been arrested at her bar with several bags of marijuana. Local media says she was one of the 7 Americans arrested over the Siem Reap prison break, but it isn't clear how these cases are connected.

Police released images of Chloe Yinrong's arrest on August 18, where you can see she is at Good Times Bar in Phnom Penh, while the prison break suspects were all reportedly arrested at a hotel, which seems to match the arrest photos of the men's arrest photos. How this arrest is seemingly connected to the Siem Reap prison break isn't clear at the moment.

I feel for her afterall its a different law for Khmers they can sell happy pizzas and sell grass

Sure but this seems related to the prison escape, the bags of weed was just an unfortunate circumstance I think?

She can't have been making much as a drug dealer, otherwise she'd been able to buy new jeans to replace the torn & ripped ones she's wearing :)

She'd have been paying someone in the sangkat for the right to sell that weed in her bar. If she's mixed up - or suspected of being mixed up - in anything else, it's an easy busy. Probably easy to become complacent when you've been doing it for a while.

Agree, but folks tend to forget they are guests in the country. What locals can get away with is one thing....

Simple question, as the law is written, has she broken it? if so, no foul I suppose.

1 pound in the kitchen for cooking is allowed I believe, but i bet it wasn't in a licensed kitchen and more that 1 pound. Lack of hard evidence in other case probably made this the easiest way to retribute for any involvement she may have had with jail break.
But who are the 10 suspects still missing and do they include the 5 chinese gunmen as originally officially stated? And the inmate flew out on the first private jet with the gunmen?
