Hotels are pretty similar priced as 5 years ago i would think in PP, or was i just lucky after the pandemic. And i would think, since 2013 i come in PP, the wages doubled also (correct me if wrong). In Belgium we have the wages officially conected with the cost of living, its called index-connected (no idea whats the official english word is), and because of that all the wages jumped about 10-15% up this year (because of energy-prices last year). There is a lot of discussion about it because Belgium has already more or less the most expensive labour-costs in the UE, but in fact, even in the KOW, without this system, the wages follow also the cost of living. I think if it wouldnt be, less people will come from the province to come to work in expensive PP !! ?? And coming from a EURO-country, sometimes we have the big advantage from counting in Euros and paying in dollars (thats also about 15% up in less then a year !! ??

Big price rises in Australia. Food much more expensive but rents worse. A room in a share house has gone from $200 to $250 and a house at least $500 a week.
Thai or Cambodian rice is now $4.50 a kg. Used to be $2.50 I think. How much is rice in Cambodia. A few bargains here, mandarins are $2.75 and strawberries $2 a punnet.

I read in the telegraph UK that qantas are being dragged through the courts for selling already cancelled flights up to 40 days after they actually cancelled the flight, and then issuing I time limited credit note for the price of the flight.
I think the article said they currently have $500 million worth of these credit notes alone.
Apparently they can be fined up to 10% of their yearly turnover for this little scam.
