Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): The Anti-Drug Department cracked down on drug cases at two different locations in Khan Sen Sok and Khan Chamkar Mon, Phnom Penh, finding a total of 102 kilograms and 352.27 grams of drugs and arresting three suspects: one Chinese, two Cambodians.

The operation was carried out on the orders of General Neth Savoeun, National Police Commissioner General, and General Mak Chito, Deputy Commissioner General of the Anti-Drug Crime Plan, under the direct command of Lt. Gen. Kheng Sarath, Director of the Anti-Drug Department.

The Anti-Drug Department confirmed that on August 7, 2023 at 14:10, police launched raids on two locations in Phnom Penh.
Location 1: Jelly Lake Hotel, 7th floor, Room B711, Street 345, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh; one Chinese woman arrested.
Location 2: Corner of Street 598 and 97, Sangkat Phsar Doeum Thkov, Khan Chamkar Mon, Phnom Penh, where they arrested two suspects, both male, Khmer.



The three suspects, along with drug exhibits, are currently being held at the Anti-Drug Department of the Ministry of Interior to build a case to be sent to court for further proceedings.
