Cambodia News, Siem Reap Province: A 41-year-old male teacher, guest at a wedding, was so drunk that he drove his silver Tacoma vehicle directly into the bride who was standing at the entrance of her wedding party to receive the guests. This terrible incident occured today on August 6, 2023, at 2:40 pm in Chroy Neang Nguon village, Srey Snom district, Siem Reap province.

Preliminary news reports that a total of 14 Dutch nationals and other foreigners who attended the wedding were involved in the accident, where the driver ploughed into the bride and people congregating around the entrance to the wedding tent, but it is not sure who has been severely injured apart from the bride. 14 foreign guests are named in the news item, nine women and five men, 13 Dutch citizens and 1 Vietnamese national, but we won't post names until there is some confirmation.

After the incident, the guests who attended the wedding were seen intervening to arrest the driver and hand him over to the authorities. The bride and the other victims were rushed to the referral hospital.
