Milk shortage??

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Bonus opportunity for Kirisu & MooMoo Farm to fill the gap tbh.
I find both of these companies full fat milks to be of much better taste than Meiji or Dutch Milk.

I stopped buying Moo Moo a couple of years ago when it went off well before the use-by date one too many times.

Maybe they're not so bad now?

I had the same experience a few times myself. It was more than likely caused by their supply chain. The milk being too long out of refrigerated storage. Kirisu is more reliable though it could also be down to how individual businesses handle the product, too. A 2l bottle never lasts more than 3 days in my house anyway but I tend to go for Kirisu over MooMoo if I have the choice.

Thanks for bring up this subject. For the past 4 months I noticed that it was painful to get Fresh fat free milk in any grocery stores, I personally like Meiji brand to add to my Weet-Bix and also to mis with my Whey protein that is the way i start my day.

Meiji my choice as well mostly because of it reliability and shelflife never had a bad one , the Dutch Mill just don't taste like real milk to me. Tried the Momo and as said above after a few days it was no longer drinkable. Was able to get my Meiji today at Bayon Chrouy Changvar

Do they have fresh milk or is it UHT? My milk experience around Thailand Vietnam didn't reveal a pleasant cereal use type of milk.
