I do hope these people who flee the scene of an accident, get a longer prison sentence when caught

I hit somebody from the side one time. Bike on bike. Obviously his fault because he was suddenly crossing a busy road and I just went with the flow of traffic.jaynewcastle wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 12:23 pm I do hope these people who flee the scene of an accident, get a longer prison sentence when caught
Nothing serious but I stopped and within a minute I had 20 Khmers surrounding me. The guy, who was at fault, "had to go" to the hospital and within 5 minutes he knew it would cost him $150. The crowd only left after I paid.
Lesson learned, I'm not gonna wait for the crowd if something serious happens, even if it's not my fault.
Edit: to be clear, I'll just give the police a call later, if necessary.
