Cambodian Schoolgirl Wins Interntional Mathematics First Prize

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On July 14, 2023, Kia Chhorita, a 9th-grade female student of CIA First International School won a gold medal in the Caribou Mathematics Contest 2023.
She was one of 80,000 contestants joining the contest from 42 countries.

What’s an ‘E’ grade?
I am not familiar with the British/Australian system.
In the US, E = Excellent = A++
Grading is ABC and then F (Fail).
Or PF (Pass/Fail) for physical education or music.
When I was growing up.

Nowadays under cambridge marking an E would = Developing level 1.
