New to Cambodia life looking to make some friends

Post by chuckgraham »

Hey everyone,

My friend and I are going to be moving to Cambodia to teach English in Kralahn near Siem Reap and are looking to make some friends before we get there. Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Charles

If you haven't already, check out the facebook groups in that area. It seems to be the place people go to for general advice and inquiries, advertising social groups and activities ... that sort of thing.

how does one make friends before one arrives somewhere?

Anyone going to teach English in Kralahn is most likely a missionary.
He will most likely be fluent in Khmer before he arrives.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Chuck Graham? Didn't we go to school together? Are you the one that peed in your pants in fourth grade?
