Cambodia News, (Siem Reap): On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, two suspects were taken into custody by the combined forces of Siem Reap Police and Sotnikum District Police, charged with “Intentional Violence using a weapon"( a cleaver).
Due to resentment, the suspects chased after the victim on a motorcycle, and hacked at his head with a cleaver causing serious injuries, on July 10, 2023 at 21:30 on National Road 6 in Sot Nikum district, Siem Reap province.


The two suspects detained by the authorities were identified as:
1. Name: Chheng Kakada, Male, 21 years old, Cambodian.
2. Name: Sos Sam An (aka It), male, 18 years old, Cambodian.

In the above case, under the coordination of the procedure by HE Meas Chanpiseth, Prosecutor of the Siem Reap Provincial Court, the police confiscated two exhibits: 1 Honda Dream C125 Series 2022 motorcycle and the cleaver used in the attack, and the two suspects will appear before Siem Reap provincial court.
