Cambodia News(Svay Rieng): Five male suspects, aged between 16 and 22, have been arrested and charged with aggravated intentional violence causing death, in which the victim was killed during an attack by a gang of youths with stones and knives, at 00:30 on 11 July 2023, at Prasot 1 village, Kandieng Reay commune, Svay Teap district, Svay Rieng province.

The victim was identified as Som Samak, a 24-year-old motorcycle worker from Rovieng Village, Krous Commune, Svay Chrum District, Svay Rieng Province.
The suspects were named as follows:
1. Kong Savy Mony Udom (aka Vy), male, 22 years old, Prasot II Village, Kandeang Reay Commune, Svay Teap District.
2. Om Sophal (aka Choy), male, 16 years old, Prasot I Village, Kandeang Reay Commune, Svay Teap District.
3. Bona, male, 16 years old, Banteay Khum Village, Kandeang Reay, Svay Teap district.
4. Sok Tin, male, 16 years old, Phum Veal Yun, Sangkat Svay Rieng, Krong Svay Rieng.
5. Neang Tave (aka We), male, 21 years old, Prasot I Village, Kandeang Reay Commune, Svay Teap District.

Police confiscated two knives and two swords as exhibits. All five suspects and the exhibits are currently being held at the Svay Teap District Police Inspectorate for legal action.
