Cambodia news, Phnom Penh: At 1:40am on June 26, 2023, a Toyota Prius car, driven by a man who was not careful, crashed into an Alphard car that had stopped for the traffic light along the Russian Federation Road.

According to a security guard at the scene, before the incident, he saw a black Alphard car (with license plate Phnom Penh 2BN-0210) driven by a Chinese man with two passengers, traveling along the Russian Federation Road from east to west at a moderate speed before stopping at a red light.
Shortly afterwards, a Toyota Prius (with license plate Phnom Penh 2R-7352), driven by a man coming from the same east to west direction at high speed, was not careful and crashed into the back of the Alphard. The Alphard bumper was smashed in, while the Toyota Prius was badly damaged at the front, but fortunately nobody was hurt.

After the incident, the local authorities arrived at the above location and asked both parties to mediate. After several hours, the owner of the Prius car agreed to pay for the repairs to the Alphard car to end the matter there and then.

Several hours???

You can just imagine his reasoning as to why he wasn't responsible.

Nobody injured. This is a powerful recommendation of Toyota safety technology. They could use it in their advertising.

Well, in that time he would have obtained 3 quotes for the repair job and gone with the cheapest one :plus1:
