Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): On June 22, 2023, Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police presented 15 suspects, including six women, accused of being involved in the crimes of theft, robbery and burglary, which the authorities have been trying to solve in the past week.


According to the authorities, the members of this gang are responsible for aggravated theft(bagsnatching from a Chinese man), possession and storage of weapons, illegal possession of drugs, and digging up and stealing electric cables and copper wire.

Police seized a number of items, including 1 black armpit backpack with 1 passport, 1 work permit and some documents, 5 mobile phone cases, 1 black SIGSAUER handgun, number C1YSSPSYS03 22 08061, 5 motorcycles, 1 bag white powder (suspected to be a drug) 9 packets of white powder (suspected to be drugs), 10 packs of colored powder, 10 packs of FANTA (suspected drugs), 1 scales , and some drug packaging bags. They also discovered and confiscated a store of bags containing stolen wires.
