Comments when awarding "Karma" on forum posts
Over time, more so in past three years or thereabouts, I have noticed that when awarding positive karma points the user awarding said points will often comment "am" or "pm"
I see many different users doing so and I have a question; what do these mean?
It only happens on CEO as far as I have noticed
PM = point made?
IDK, hence the thread
Thanks

Re: Comments when awarding "Karma" on forum posts
I read a lot of the thumbs up karma points (not all) and have never seen am (what’s that in context?) or pm

Isn't it about which part of the day the comment has been made ?

Only one other has a worse % score than me, so they are obviously a patronising way of saying "nice try, but the big people are talking now."

On a small screen the wordwrap effect on the timestamp would have the am/pm part on its own row, and without a comment below it that might come off as the comment itself.

When CEO stated we could give negative karma as well>>>>
BRING BACK THE OPTION !!!
Word of advice, i thought before that comments could only be read by the recipient,
not so, as got a ban from a comment i made

So, was the OP a genuine enquiry??? It’s pretty obvious which portion is a comment and which portion is a system generated identifier and time stamp.
People aren’t seriously seeing pm and am and thinking that’s part of a thumbs up comment, are they?
