Stephen Hawking was asked whether alien’s coming to earth was a good or bad thing.

Most recently he said it was a bad thing.

Civilizations that have mastered faster than light travel, can survive the vast distances between stars, are protected from radiation more deadly than the most powerful nuclear bomb, are pretty much immune to any weapon mankind has.

Of course sending the Voyager probes with maps of how to get to Earth and voice samplings of all the major languages, didn’t help to remain anonymous.

I hope the aliens continue to just toy with us and never seriously consider come for our resources, or humans as food, or whatever.
