Syrian Refugee Caught on Video in France Stabbing Child (NSFW)

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

At a guess- this topic has nothing specifically related to Cambodia, and has more legitimacy being in the Rest of the world sub-forum, than say a topic on stealthing being dumped in the more Cambodia centred Ask the Expats. Just a thought?

xandreu wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 9:41 am The fact he's a Syrian refugee is kind of irrelevant. I'm not sure why people have to point that out. It implies that this played some part in his behaviour. We don't know who he is or why he did it, but I doubt being Syrian or a refugee had anything to do with it.
When 80-90% of the rapes in Sweden are committed by recent immigrants from non-Europeans nations, it becomes relevant.
When adherents of a specific religion start beheading priests and teachers in France, it becomes relevant.

It is called pattern recognition and is the key to problem solving.

I was sexually assaulted in Cambodia, by expats in Cambodia. Seems a bit more relevant than a Sryian in France.
But sure, let's bring that up again......

Where did you get that statistic? The only one I can find is 38% of those being suspected for rape were born outside of Sweden (Europe and elsewhere). That was from 2021.
Between the years 2000 and 2015, a total of 3 039 offenders were convicted of rape+ against a woman (Table 1). The majority of the offenders were men (n = 3 029; 99.7%) and the mean year of birth was 1976 (SD 12.3). Close to half of the offenders were born outside of Sweden (n = 1 451; 47.7%) followed by Swedish born offenders with Swedish born parents (n = 1 239; 40.8%). A relatively small part of the cohort was constituted of offenders being born in Sweden with at least one parent being born outside Sweden (n = 349; 11.5%). Table 2 shows from which regions the first- and second-generation immigrants and their parents originate from. Among Swedish born offenders with one parent born outside of Sweden (n = 172), the foreign-born parent was mostly born in Western Countries (72.7%) followed by Eastern Europe (11.0%). Regarding Swedish born offenders with no parent born in Sweden (n = 177), a high proportion of the mothers and fathers were born in Western countries (40.7% and 33.9%) followed by the Middle East/North Africa (19.8% and 24.0%). The largest group of the study population was found among offenders born outside of Sweden (n = 1 451); a significant part was from the Middle East/North Africa (34.5%) followed by Africa (19.1%).

You just know it is bullshit when 80 - 90% figures are bandied about.

Yup, Julian Assange would belong to that 38%

So, the guy is a self-claimed catholic, and turns out so is the other guy "chasing" him away with the help of his backpack. He was just passing there while on his devout tour of French cathedrals by feet, and took the opportunity to make a move in order to chase the Syrian away, although in a mild manner (why not knock down the guy with a big backpack whoosh while he wasn't looking, goddammit ?? Ah well, at least he was there and did something).
Good for him, that probably have limited the amount of casualties, and given the crowd a hero to celebrate, which it needs.

So on a strictly religious angle, it's catholic Vs catholic, for the best and the worse ^^

Banned on Twitter my ass. It's all over Twitter and media in general

Fucking Christians eh?
Go and check again as soon as they find the video they block it. And surprise surprise he turns out to be a Christian This has nothing to do with his asylum claim it's not as if they often state that they are homosexual or Christian to facilitate their asylum claim.
Remind me again how many covid jabs did you have?

So your argument is that a fraction of the population accounts for 38% of the rapes. That's still pretty f****** high.
