The property in question is a large-scale egg producer, located In Trapeang Chhouk village, Preah Sre commune, Oudong Mey Chey city, Kampong Speu province, which has reportedly produced a terrible smell in the whole area for many years now. The strong smell of ammonia from the factory farm waste particularly affects the inhabitants of the nearby pagoda and school: monks, students, teachers, and worshippers.

After the meeting between the officials and the two parties, the representative of the owner of the chicken farm made a contract promising that:
1. There will be no more bad smells to affect the people living around the factory.
2- No more trucks transporting chicken droppings through the middle of the village, which will instead drive around the village to avoid causing odors to the households.
