Unfortunately nobody cares about the error chain in Cambodia. Just some face saving action.

Expect this pattern to continue, unfortunately.

Western nations want to know how something tragic happens and tries to prevent it from happening again.

In Cambodia, it’s one’s bad luck or karma.

RIP to the poor lady.

A woman died in March 2023 during a cosmetic surgery procedure that was carried out in a Phnom Penh "beauty clinic".

The decision of the Ministry of Health follows the tragic death of a 36-year-old woman during cosmetic surgery at the clinic, which may have been caused by the negligence of the management of the clinic. CEO News comment: Meanwhile, buyer beware, the Cambodian Ministry of Health is at present attempting to set standard regulations for hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical sellers, beauty clinics, and other medical practictioners, but as we all know, there are always exceptions to rules and regulations in Cambodia.
