They look like junkies who were being paid in ice to guard the massive stash.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Yes, pitiful. Certainly not the "masterminds".
Even so, they could get 30 years for guarding that lot.

The Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday charged and detained three women for allegedly possessing and trafficking nearly 194 kilogrammes of Meth, MDMA, Nimetazepam, Heroin and Ketamine in the capital.

Anti-Drug Department Police Officer Lieutenant Colonel Yun Sareth named the three women as Im Sreypov, 38; Los Neth, 38; and Seng Kunthy, 44.

Lt Col Sareth said that the three were charged with “drug possession, transport and trafficking” under Article 40 of the Law on Drugs Control and face a life sentence each if convicted.

The women were arrested on May 20 by police in the Anti-Drug Department in the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with police in Sen Sok and Dangkor districts, he added.

Their arrests came after they had transported drugs from the Cambodian-Laotian Border in Stung Treng province to their houses in Sen Sok district’s Toek Thla commune and in Dangkor district’s Prey Veng commune, with the aim of distribution to users in Phnom Penh, Svay Rieng and Kandal provinces, he said.

After their arrest, police seized just under 194 kilogrammes of heroin, meth, MDMA, ketamine and nimetazepam, along with 23.21 kilogrammes of drug making ingredients and other related materials from them, he added.

To me they look like just another three uneducated village girls who's mastermind had a lot better education than them.
If educated foreigners can be tricked into having $100 notes swapped for copies while having a innocent massage why do we expect village girls to be more educated than us when it comes to trickery.

It's all total bullshit. These so-called "busts" are just a sham for the world's media because without them Cambodia could be branded a Narco-State. This is simply a facade.

Patsys get set up, papers dutifully report this nonsense and it's business as usual.
