Crying man on loudspeaker outside my hotel!?
Re: Crying man on loudspeaker outside my hotel!?
Ok, I thought maybe CEO had reached capacity and you needed to insert a new floppy disk or whatever.General Mackevili wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 11:43 amGood question. Unfortunately Imgur is another entity entirely, so we can't control when they have it working or not. It's gone out a few times over the years, so hopefully they have it working again soon enough. We haven't changed anything on our end recently, so it shouldn't be anything on our end.Doc67 wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 11:19 amWhile you're with us, what's happening with Imgur?General Mackevili wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 11:09 amI approved it. Besides being 'weird,' it didn't seem like a sock puppet/troll. I don't think it will win 'thread of the year' or anything though, lol.Tootsfriend wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 10:53 amShhh , it's dogz8827 first post and I think the mods are in on the deal.

I was going to suggest that it is one of the mods, keeping us on our toes in anticipation of a certain hammock dwelling down and out’s return…Tootsfriend wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 10:53 amShhh , it's dogz8827 first post and I think the mods are in on the deal.

It looked like a little street cart with handles that allowed it to be wheeled around. It had a loudspeaker connected to a car battery and they were blaring sounds at me, like a psyop or something.
It was covered in a wreath of elephant garlic.
I believe the woman that I met at the bar was some sort of spy. She tried to sell me Cocaine, which I politely declined.
Have you ever heard of this kind of political nonsense happening in PP? I've never seen anything like it. I think it might have been a failed blackmail attempt.

Yes, it’s happened to me on several occasions. The politics against foreigners here is a disgrace. Every time I refuse to give money to a begging child or when I refuse to buy a girl a lady drink I find myself being followed around the next day by a wheeled street cart with a loudspeaker blaring what I assume are obscenities at me.dogz8827 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 5:37 amIt looked like a little street cart with handles that allowed it to be wheeled around. The intimidation here is unbelievable. It’s a good thing my will is stronger than theirs or I also would have left a long time ago.
Just to make it clear to everyone, I have never been diagnosed with any type of mental disorder nor am
I in any way trolling or looking for attention.

So far this has only happened to me three times - what confused me the most is that no one else even seemed to notice or care about the cart or the noise - it was as if I was the only one who heard it because everyone else just went about their business.
So weird.
So weird.

It's pretty much routine, I know hardly any foreigners this hasn't happened to yet.

Mods aren't really doing much these days. I've just had a nine year-old thread resurrected for no other reason than to bait me from some psycho stalker I've picked up - perfectly fine, apparently.
Whatever, it just means more time spent elsewhere.

The Charley thing is rare, did you see it?
Which bar?
Is the "nonsense" the action in the story, or the story itself?
What you need to do is keep moving BC the cart pusher has not gone away; they just take a while to catch up to you.
Oh, and make sure you use a VPN: You wouldn't want a Cambo IP when you said you left the country.
