How did you celebrate May the 4th or Cinco de Mayo?

he's talking about the Star Wars fan holiday May 4th as in "May the 4th be with you"

getting hungry now.. while learning about Cinco De Mayo being a short-lived victory for Mexicans. the general who led the "Battle of Puebla" died shortly after and the French came back and defeated them at the Second Battle.

best Mexican food in Siem Reap?? let's gooo

if there's anything to do here apart from Angkor Wat also v appreciative of suggestions

Never cared much about Viva. Maybe Later is my go-to restaurant. OK, it is Californian Mexican food, but it is pretty good.

I don;t know what your interests are or if you are travelling with family?

At the turn of the 20th century, Mexico was introduced to mayonnaise.

And they just loved it. They couldn’t make mayonnaise quick enough.

Little known fact, the Titanic had a large vat of mayonnaise that was going to go to Mexico.

Now when the Titanic sunk, and the mayonnaise went with it, the Mexicans were devastated.

So devastated that they did the only logical thing they could do: make a holiday to commemorate that tragic event.

Know what they called that holiday?

Cinco de Mayo.

Actually in Mexico, Cinco de Mayo (5th of May) was never really a holiday.

Only La Raza (the race) in the US and their agenda of taking back ‘stolen land’ (ie lost in the war, of course originally stolen from the native Mayans and Aztecs) pushed the date as a holiday. In order to push their agenda. Returning most of the Southwest and West Coast back to Mexico. Or at least to make the US a Mexican colony through mass immigration.

My opinions, of course.
