American national Richard Saxe Coulton found lying in the streets of Phnom Penh with a bloody leg injury. Not a whole lot of info about how he got there.

And video footage of Richard Coulson:

Surprisingly it appears his visa is still valid.

Because that's the schadenfreudenal culture. Foreigners get zero respect. Even from (some) fellow expats. Some say it's because we all get tarred with the same brush, but that's weak when they don't know any of the story (let alone part of).

The same reason foreigners are labeled pedophiles and locals are labeled rapists.

Do you think it's normal or acceptable behavior to pass out half-naked in a public place? I don't. He deserves all the shame he can get.

If it turns out that a medical crisis led to this, I will absolutely agree with you. Until then, I am assuming that his state is self-inflicted and I have no problem with him being shamed.
