Re: Hacked on iPhone ?
Brilliant , it’s nice to know TikTok ( had to be the culprit ) didn’t reconfigure the App Store on my genuine iPhone .Freightdog wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 2:14 am Authenticator is a genuine App from the App Store, that I think is rather redundant now that phone OSs have evolved. It’s basically a repository of passwords.
We downloaded it a long while back when the company I was with used it for collating some company security stuff, but then we never used it once it was highlighted that while it’s compliant with basic app guidelines, it probably also stores your data elsewhere, not so compliantly.
So, delete it.
Here’s another thing. A lot of locals let the phone shop set up their phones for them, and they quite often end up with a clone of a clone of a clone… The other half is bad at that. Someone may well have downloaded the app based on ‘helpful’ advice.
Be selective about who you lend the phone to. If you must, track down all your spares, set up a separate Apple ID for ‘family’ to keep your stuff separate from theirs, and all your spares. And change all your current passwords.
Edit. On second looking, The one in the OP is similar to the one that the company used, which was microShiite related. But basically the same thing. Password and login storage. Still probably redundant. I’d still take some extra care with who uses the phone in your absence.
But I clicked the hack notice and that app popped up so it had to be ,
I don’t want that. So I just restarted , it’s fine now , it’s a real iPhone , i let a schkroouuT borrow
No problem never mind , it’s just for fun and games .
It’s just a throwaway , I got it because I didn’t like the color of the other one , it’s a #13
I got 10 iPhones
20 iPads .
4 different mac accounts in various random Names , yes PISSONTHEROOF is one of them .
I cant operate that “ other “ chinese junk . . I got 3 samsungs I never use , just for kicks .
Now we got cable t.v. And it snot ( say it fast ). Easy . To learn which buttons to press
( 2 separate remotes )
Anyway just signed here 2 years so will figger it out in time if i can lay off the sauce awhile

You're actually super boomer if you simply factory reset your phone.
A simple google would of told you that your calendar was subscribed to some random bullshit site that whoever borrowed your phone was on (more than likely looking at porn) and it would of taken less time to unsubscribe in the settings than it would of taken to factory reset the phone.
What you had happen to you is one of maybe five popular hacks for iphones and I'd say 60% of khmer iphone owners have it solely from looking at porn. https://www.ipvanish.com/blog/iphone-calendar-virus/

So POTR wasn't really hacked, he just inadvertently downloaded some malware so he could watch porn? That makes a lot more sense.Darkcel wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 9:39 pm You're actually super boomer if you simply factory reset your phone.

I don’t watch porn. ( I used to ) , not that I’m shy to admit it , I get my ( no nudity ) porn on facebook , for example the lockscreen you see above . If I need to mastrperbate I look at pictures of my kids moms face and teeth That does it for me .John Bingham wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 11:56 pmSo POTR wasn't really hacked, he just inadvertently downloaded some malware so he could watch porn? It turns out the warning that “ your Apple iPhone has been hacked “ is just advertisement , when i clicked it
( I shouldn’t have ) it took me to that authentic ator app -2FA which it must cost money but I don’t use any apps like that because I’m an apple guy . So a restart was all it needed . The schkrooouuuT i let use my phone dont watch porn either
But is sucked in by the dreaded tiktoc .. communist infiltrators !
Everybody here thinks the worst of me.

I hate Authenticator, iD, and Authy. All required to be running in the background for work.
It’s corporate’s way of satisfying internet ‘security’.
Along with required 2 factor Authentication for all corporate apps on top of that.
And the apps calling corporate central every few minutes to make sure it is ‘linked’ so privacy integrity can be ‘guaranteed’.

Bought new Samsung A23 from the Samsung original store at #512 Monivong. $215. Pretty good.

Re: Hacked on iPhone ?
More likely what you are looking at is an invitation to install the hack software.
It makes no sense to tell you it's hacked.. The "fix" will require you entering a password... then your fucked.

Re: Hacked on iPhone ?
Once you have reset your phone, never ever lend a phone. They can hack into the entire phone including your camera and all your passwords. Bank accounts, and it's game over.
Reset any other phones you have lent out.
You have been lucky so far, but you are probably being warehoused, where they store info on you to eventually "be you."
