Cambodia News On 28 April 2023,hot news on social media in Cambodia described an incident in which a young woman claims to have been drugged by a group of thieves, then taken to a quiet place in Sihanoukville market, and robbed of all her jewelry and money; the victim was left behind with only a red money pouch containing a plastic bag with some bits of metal.

The victim, known as Pisey, was born in Toul Toteung village, Toul Toteung commune, Prey Nob district, Sihanoukville, and is currently living in Borey Meng Huong with her Chinese husband.

According to the victim, she was robbed by two women (one wearing a mask and the other not wearing one)who both looked like the Vietnamese women robbers, who were recently rumored on social media to be robbing people across the country.*

The women grabbed the victim's hand hand and led her away to a quiet place where they removed her jewellery and also took her phone, which contained $ 1,000 in a holster.
While the victim was still in a stupor the two women handed over her the redbag laced with gold sequins and when she opened it, she saw just some metal rings.
