Something like this one. topic54689.html
Maybe just add to the present heading but put Mineral oil for Wanking. My fav poster on CEO is bound to reply to it.
Re: mineral oil
Can’t you use canola oil? If not, almond oil is ok (don’t know the cost though)
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.
Re: mineral oil.
I can help you there. There is a very highly refined pure and non smelling mineral oil in the form of 'sewing machine oil' which I use when I refurbish guitars.
Its called 'Sindo oil'.
Its pure enough to where you could probably use it in cosmetics etc. It cost 4,000 riel at most little hardware stores. I use a lot of it and love it

Re: mineral oil
so it's Mineral Oil and not a paraffin based oil?
i don't mind a little wax but i don't want anything that isn't food grade as not to worry about it going rancid.
thank you

From Yahoo search.
Is mineral oil the same as paraffin oil?
Well paraffin oil and mineral oil are nearly the same. It's just the paraffin oil is refined more. Either would be acceptable to use on a cutting board. Both are non-flammable where kerosene is so I would certainly not use that. It has a very pungent odor anyway. Mixing the beeswax with mineral or paraffin oil would also work.
If you are using it to treat a cutting board from splitting, then as violet suggested canola oil or similar will do the trick. I still have a chopping block I soaked in cooking oil for many weeks and after about 15 years it only has hairline cracks in it.

Re: mineral oil
Basic vegetable cooking oil is what I have always used. I must admit, I’d be a little hesitant to believe that locally sourced food grade mineral oil is actually up to the task- the amount of counterfeit, fake goods, in Cambodia would suggest such things might not have much oversight. Keeping it simple might be the way to go?
Re: mineral oil
you should look for Castor Oil also called Ricin oil, it is a strong oral stimulant lexative. Try pharmacy on the corner of St.51 and St. 136, they used to stock that product.Mr Know It All wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 10:23 am hello people,
