Tried searching but most results brought up threads on renewing foreign passports.

Anyone got any recent experiences or info on renewing Cambodian passports? The wife and I live in Australia but visit Cambodia once or twice a year.

I’m assuming it’s best done in country. What’s the timeframe and cost like at the moment? Would it be something that can be done in a week with enough $$$ ?

Cambodian passports can only be renewed in Cambodia, can't be done from overseas.

Your wife needs to go in person to one of the Passport Issuing Centres. Take originals & copies of;

- Birth Certificate
- Family Book and/or Carnet de Residence (or certificate of residence if don't have either of the above)
- National ID Card
- Old passport (if applicable)

Complete the application form, follow instructions, very simple.

1. Adult passport (age 6+), Validity 10 years, 65 pages
$100 20 day processing
$150 10 day processing
$200 1 day processing

2. For children (under 6), Validity 5 years, 48 pages
$80 20 day processing
$120 10 day processing
$160 1 day processing

Applicant must be there in person, as they take biometrics (fingerprints, electronic signature) and digital photo.
